I was so pleased to receive a phone call earlier this week from a WI Speaker Secretary. We’ve agreed another date in October for my talk, “It Won’t Show on Stage”. It had been cancelled twice, so it was very reassuring to know that the interest is still there and also that clubs are starting to think of opening up again.
I had intended to work on 2 new talks during this period but found that, with an incentive lacking, I couldn’t muster the enthusiasm to make more progress. I had plenty of ideas and had done an amount of research, then came to a standstill. Not quite back to the drawing board now, but feeling refreshed and re-enthused.
