So I hope that I’ll have the time and energy to concentrate on my talk repertoire very soon. Tomorrow I have surgery to replace my right hip , nearly 3 years after the left hip was replaced. I know what lies ahead and I know it will be a fairly long wait before I’m fit to dance as I would like; but I know it’ll be worth it to be pain free.
I will have plenty of time when I’m unable to drive or do those things that I want to be able to do, so I will concentrate on my talks. The MS society, along with so many other charities is lacking funds for their essential research and support work.
Then it will be the “New Normal”, whatever that is. I hope that people will feel able to venture out again and participate, with all of the checks in place, in those wonderful social events that we all miss so much.
