It is so good to be back amongst the noise and camaraderie that can be found amongst groups of women.
Womens’ Guilds and WIs have a distinct & different ambience than mixed groups or men only groups. Having said that, I have yet to attend a men only meeting, so it remains to be seen if I am right or wrong.
I am very pleased to have been invited, by a fellow speaker and entertainer, to speak at a Thurrock PROBUS meeting towards the end of November.
From past experience, speaker secretaries tend to have the opinion that my talks are only of interest to a female audience; I hope to prove otherwise.
Looking into the future, I am also pleased to be getting more bookings and repeat bookings. It is certainly a rewarding feeling to be invited back.
