Friday afternoon I braved the A12 to travel to Shrub End. It really is the most dreadful road for miles. It’s just one long traffic jam. I had been booked to speak to this group in 2018 and because of a period of ill health I had to cancel the booking; something that I hate to do but was the only option at the time.
I needn’t have worried as they welcomed me with open arms.
My talk to the women in Wickham Bishops the day before was also very well received. I was invited to take my tea (and cake) with one group of women so that they could carry on chatting to me.

Monday 31st October I will be in Billericay for my last talk of the year.
If you’ve been let down at the last minute it’s always worth getting in touch to see if I can help out. Otherwise, I can put my feet up until January 2023.
