It appears that clubs and societies will not be meeting for the foreseeable future; the WI is explicitly mentioned as not being included in those organisations that can meet in COVID secure premises.
So far I haven’t been asked to do a ZOOM talk and since surgery in August my progress on recording my talks has been very slow. My discomfort has made it difficult either to concentrate or to find a comfortable position, but as each day passes and I get stronger, I’ll start again with renewed vigour. I have also decided to work on two new talks but given that I’ve been unable to give 1 of my 3 existing talks since March the impetus needed just isn’t there.
I am encouraged though that some groups are contacting me to re-arrange for 2021.
