The pattern arrived in the post this morning for my new costume. Having costumes on display when I give my talks has always proved very popular in the past, so I have decided to make a new one. I bought a beautiful purple Dupion and a gold Chiffon from Geoff’s Remnant Shop in Kings Road, Brentwood, and have found quite a lot of trimming in my material cupboard. I don’t think that it will be ready for my next talk; too many projects already on the go. I will be taking photographs as I go along and posting them here. The first picture might be a few weeks away!
