Heybridge U3A

Entertaining the members of Heybridge U3A was a most pleasant way to spend the afternoon (well I enjoyed it!) A very welcoming group of people all eager to hear about different experiences. The Speaker Secretary clearly felt quite strongly that minds should be open to learning about new things, and perhaps things not in one’s normal sphere of interest. A receptive audience makes a big difference when giving a talk.

“A View from the Stalls” is my most serious talk but I hope that I have introduced enough levity to make it lively. I just hope that they weren’t disappointed that my husband didn’t give the threatened demonstration.

Strawberries and cream were served after I had given my talk; most welcome.
