I’m making a romantic tutu. (A photo album is on the gallery tab under “tutu making”) I’m adding photographs to that album as the work progresses. I’ve come to a bit of a standstill until I can make a basic fitting on the intended recipient. If I sew the net together and gather it, it will take up more room than it currently does, so it’ll have to wait.
I’ve marked the basque with the sewing position for the petersham waistband and for the layers of net. I marked the position with an air erasable pen before sewing a machine tacking stitch; almost for the first time ever, the pen marks “air erased” and I had to repeat the exercise.
