I was all set to give my talk to the very welcoming and friendly members of HYDE Ladies PROBUS, went and sat in the bar to chat before lunch and fortunately got into a conversation that enabled me to switch my talk “It Won’t Show on Stage” to “A Peep Behind the Scenes”.
I usually like to run through my talks the day before to refresh my notes, especially if I’ve had a small gap. I needn’t have worried as it all came back without any hesitation. The invitation to give “It Won’t Show on Stage” has already been extended.
I was told that everyone went home with a smile on their face; so that’s good.
A double bonus of a good donation for the MS Society and a pretty good lunch too.
