Now it’s slightly unnerving to give a talk to such an erudite audience; those who embroider are usually more than competent needle men or women. Especially given that I knew at least two members of the audience had “Wardrobe Mistress” experience. However, I need not have worried as yesterday evening I was given a very warm welcome and received many comments afterwards as to how much my talk had been appreciated and enjoyed.
