I was privileged to attend a Masterclass organised by The London Ballet Circle recently. The Masterclass was given by Doreen Wells at the beautiful Christopher Wren designed Gresham Centre in central London. After warm up, Doreen demonstrated and coached the dancers in “Lise and the Ribbon” from La Fille Mal Gardée.
I was really pleased to see local dancer Jasmine Wallis, who was at at the Central School of Ballet, amongst the dancers. It was a beautiful evening; Doreen Wells is an inspiration and still amazingly beautiful.
Doreen was very keen that the event should be recorded and posed with me and the dancers from Central. (Jasmine is next to me)
